These Terms of Sale govern all purchases made through shop.idta.co.uk, the official online shop of the International Dance Teachers’ Association (IDTA).
By placing an order with us, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully before purchasing.

To place an order with the IDTA Shop, you must:

- be authorised to use the payment method submitted.
The IDTA reserves the right to refuse or cancel orders where information provided is incorrect, incomplete, or suspicious.
3. Product Information & Availability
We make every effort to ensure product descriptions, pricing, stock levels, and images are accurate.
However:
- Colours, packaging, or minor details may vary.
- All items are subject to availability.
- We reserve the right to change or discontinue products at any time.
If an item becomes unavailable after you place your order, we will contact you to offer a refund or an alternative.
4. Pricing
All prices shown on the IDTA Shop website:
- are listed in GBP (£),
- include UK VAT where applicable, and
- exclude shipping costs, which are added at checkout.
We reserve the right to update prices at any time. Changes do not affect orders already placed.
5. Payment
We accept the payment methods displayed at checkout.
Payment is taken at the time of ordering.
Your order will not be processed until full payment has been received.
6. Order Confirmation
After completing checkout, you will receive an order confirmation email summarising your purchase.
This email acknowledges receipt of your order but does not guarantee acceptance.
We reserve the right to cancel or amend orders where necessary (e.g., stock errors, pricing mistakes).
7. Delivery
Delivery times and shipping details are outlined in our Shipping Policy.
Please ensure your address is correct at checkout. IDTA Shop is not responsible for items lost due to incorrect address details provided by the customer.
8. Returns & Refunds

In general:

- Digital products (if applicable) are non-returnable once downloaded or accessed.

- Your statutory right to cancel ends immediately once the download begins.

All content sold or displayed on the IDTA Shop—including logos, branding, product designs, written materials, syllabi, and media—is protected by copyright and intellectual property law.
Purchasing a product does not transfer any ownership rights.
You may not reproduce, resell, or commercially exploit any content without written consent.
11. Limitation of Liability
IDTA Shop is not responsible for:
- delays caused by postal or courier services,
- indirect or consequential losses,
- loss of profit or business interruption, or
- misuse of products purchased.
Our liability, where applicable, is limited to the value of the product purchased.
This does not exclude liability where such exclusion is unlawful under UK consumer law.

Orders may be delayed, declined, or cancelled if suspicious activity is detected.
